Is what this guy is saying true

I can't remember and I watched every gameplay reveal video I could.

What he is saying is that our Dinosaurs will keep the scars from previous battles and they will age in a visible way. If so that is awesome.

If not I am cancelling my preorder.

I'm almost certain Best in Slot, either talked about it in his gameplay reveal or it was Nick from FDev who mentioned it but I heard the exact same thing. Over time dinosaur individuals keeps scars and gain notoriety from more battles meaning T-Rex A, fresh out of the hatchery is less attractive as a visitor attraction than T-rex B who has a history of confirmed kills and the scars to match.

I quote the following article from the Spanish magazine Playmanía:

"In addition, each dinosaur will obtain a rating based on its authenticity, the modifications we have made, its level of infamy (it will have more if it has participated and emerged victorious in battles against other dinosaurs) , the care he has received or the visibility he has in the park. "

Yeah, I heard him talk about the scars but I never heard it from a dev or another YouTuber until now.
Turns out he also got that from everynightxRIOT's video, so basically we still have only one source and I do like to know if this is really true.
That would be awesome.

Edit: Disregard that, I thought Andrew2018 was talking about Riot's footage, not Shawnasaur's...

Just wanted to let OP know that we've actually not worked directly with YouTuber Shawnasaur, and he's not an official source of information. All the YouTubers who were present at the event in March have been publicised in a separate post, and it looks to me like he's taken someone else's gameplay footage (not very nice) and made his own video.
I suggest for official news you subscribe to our official channels on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, or our newsletter. That will always be the source of official information rather than speculation. If you want I can repost the official list of YouTubers we have worked with previously, which they will also always state in their video description.

Hi Bo, thanks for the clarification. It is normal so much speculation, each time is less for the launch of the game and looks very good.

A game 2018 without persistent scaring would never sell. So they have to do it.

However: Medical facilities and operations could remove scars and genetic vats could replace missing limbs (or add surplus new ones), theoretically.
