ISINONA has posted again !

Must be the only Commander who manages to achieve something else dramatic while the landing sequence is counting down !

Nice capturing of a real first encounter before everyone knew the tactics for the scouts and how to cure caustic.

I find myself talking to the screen, saying "No ! Don't do that ! Nooooooo ....... oh wow, ok .... well don't do .......Oh no!" 😱

That's when this game is the most fun. When things go wrong. I'm glad he posted this even though it was basically a blooper. IMO Isinona is my favorite Elite youtuber to watch because he just seems to "get" the game the most out of the lot. He's one of the few players out there playing/showcasing the game the "right" way. I have to stress it's absolutely not what he is doing, but how he does it. The self-imposed challenges and restrictions he has, the great sense of awareness using all of the available tools and readouts on the ship, the running narrative he keeps, his skill with piloting and the informative narrative explaining why he does certain things, the way he rolls with the small stuff--you can tell he's only ever doing something because it's fun, he's not beleguring the fact that he has do stuff with his ship and instead he's just having fun with doing it. And all the while his videos serve as great resources for newer players just because of the diversity of things he does and the range of mechanics he explores and narrates.

You could be a murderer, war hero, xeno-hunter, explorer, miner, or any of the other possible "careers" in the game and have just as much fun (and be just as much of a value to the platform) with the same approach and dedication to playing with the game rather than trying to force your meta onto it.

Is he the best pilot ever? I don't know, certainly not in all combat situations. Is he flying the top tier fully loaded meta-approved gank boat? No. But does that stop him from having fun with the game, all while in Open? Not at all. Rock on CMDR.

It´s amazing. I´m on a self imposed E:D pause atm and watching Isinona for 10 mins made me fire up the game. That playstyle is incredibly mesmerizing and interesting. Mad props!

He is very observant, notices little tell-tales on the radar that indicates something different is afoot. Less so for his ship condition :cautious:

Takes a likin' and keeps on tickin'. Thanks for the thread. Checking this out now. It's always a treat to see them in actual, all love from the peanut gallery. :)

...

OK, they're rocking the Vulture now... the fit just hit the shan... :D

I simply love his videos, and it's been a long time since he did one. This one is excellent! There's something about the way he flies, like he was born in the cockpit. I never get tired of watching. And he manages to weave an interesting story out of everything he does. It's very entertaining.

I think it's the intent behind it. Stay on target and all that. They're committed. Not the best pilot, perhaps, but not someone sitting there waiting for the game to play itself for them either. Yes, it's refreshing for YouTubers, for sure.
