Isla Nublar Day/Night Cycle?

Frontier confirmed that Isla Nublar is the sandbox mode (Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawesome).
So, only one question still remains. Can we know if there is a day/night cycle? Or we have to choose before starting the game if we want day or night?

I feel like we should at least have the choice of switching the time on Nublar if there isn't a day/night cycle. It's only logical that there is some manner to change the time considering it's sandbox.

Well i suspect that, in my own theory.. They don't want the other isles have day/night cycles cuz Frontier want us to learn diffrent senarios before they let us play on Nublar... But if they are working on day/night cycles on the other islands now, they possible changed their minds.. Hmmm

I'm not so sure it will have a day/night cycle after reading Bo's post:

I do hope that we will be able to set the time if there isn't a day/night cycle that would be second best.

Since Nublar is the sandbox we should be able to set the lighting or have a day and night cycle like in Planet Coaster. Though I would be fine with just setting the lighting myself.

I would like to mention that this doesn't necessarily rule out anything because the discussion wasn't in reference to Nublar specifically.

Something that was on my mind the other day. The Making of the T. Rex vid, it was hard to tell but there were points in the video where it seemed like it all took place within the same enclosure, including the moments where the time was different.

Well now we know for sure we can set the time to day, dusk or night.
Personally I like that we can do that, as I said before if there isn't a day/night cycle this would be second best.

I just heard from BestInSlot and IGN that we will be able to set the lighting on the island. As Lora Craft said day, dusk or night. This is a good. We will also be able to set conditions and events. Like storms, Dinosaur sickness and I believe we have the ability to shut power off to our park.

We'll be able to control how often our island experiences power outages.
