Isla Nublar Dinosaur Pack and Accompanying Update Idea

Isla Nublar is by far the most iconic island in the franchise, where it all began, and an island we left due to a bit of a volcanic eruption. But there is a lot of stuff from this island that we currently don't have access to, with a number of species we currently don't have, some skins and variants, particular buildings and attractions and even some maps. Here are some ideas for what a dedicated Isla Nublar Dinosaur Pack could include, with species of the Jurassic World era of Isla Nublar, with some on the holoscape, and given the resemblance some of these animals share with current species, many should be quite easy to model and animate.

Isla Nublar Dinosaur Pack:

New Species:
  • Coelurus (small coelurosaurian of the Late Jurassic of the United States)
  • Elaphrosaurus (a ceratosaurian of Late Jurassic Tanzania)
  • Lesothosaurus (a small ornithischian of the Early Cretaceous of South Africa and Lesotho of which it got its name)
  • Microceratus (a small ceratopsian of Late Cretaceous Asia featured in Jurassic World Dominion)
  • Peloroplites (a nodosaurid of Late Cretaceous Utah)
  • Segisaurus (a coelophysid of Early Jurassic Arizona)
  • Tarbosaurus (a large tyrannosaur from Late Cretaceous Asia)
  • Teratophoneus (a medium-sized tyrannosaur of Late Cretaceous Utah)
  • Hadrosaurus (a hadrosaurid from Late Cretaceous North America)
  • Nipponosaurus (a hadrosaurid from Late Cretaceous Japan)
New Variants:
  • Tarbosaurus 2016 Variant (a model based on its appearance in Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous: Hidden Adventure being a variant alongside an original Frontier design)
Free Update Features:
  • Stegosaurus 2015 Variant (a model of the Stegosaurus with a lowered tail to match the Stegosaurus seen in the Jurassic World, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous and Jurassic World Dominion)
  • Nasutoceratops 2022 Variant (a model based on the male Nasutoceratops individuals seen in Jurassic World: Battle at Big Rock, Jurassic World Dominion: The Prologue and Jurassic World Dominion)
  • Dimorphodon 2015 Variant (a model of the Dimorphodon with yellow eyes and a feathered back, much like a larger version of the Dimorphodon 2022 skin but with longer wings like the base game Dimorphodon)
  • Baryonyx 2015 Variant (a model based on the Jurassic World website design with a gold and yellow pattern with blue around the eye, with protofeathers on the head and arms, as well as a thinner head and smoother body, lacking the crocodilian attributes of the movie Baryonyx)
  • Edmontosaurus 2015 Variant (a variant which removes the crest of the base game Edmontosaurus, this could however be a free update redesign)
  • Apatosaurus 2015 Variant (a slimmer variant which isn't as hefty and thick as the base Apatosaurus is)
New Skins:
  • Tyrannosaurus Rex 2015 (a skin with only the scars from the original Jurassic Park velociraptors that fought Rexy at the end of the original film)
  • Parasaurolophus 2015 A (a skin with brighter eyes and a slightly longer head)
  • Parasaurolophus 2015 B (a brightly coloured skin with an orange and brown pattern with a green crest and head)
  • Suchomimus 2015 (a skin based on the base skin from Jurassic World Evolution and Jurassic World website, with added protofeathers on the head)
  • Pachycephalosaurus 2015 A (a skin based on the base skin from Jurassic World Evolution and The Lost World)
  • Pachycephalosaurus 2015 B (a skin based on the Jurassic World website design)
  • Mosasaurus 2015 (a skin inspired by the appearances in Jurassic World, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Jurassic World Dominion with more blues than greys and hints of blue-green colours)
  • Brachiosaurus 2018 (a skin based on the base skin from Jurassic World Evolution, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Jurassic World Dominion with blue details around the head)
  • Baryonyx 2018 (a skin based on the base skin from Jurassic World Evolution and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom)
  • Dilophosaurus 2015 (a skin based on the hologram Dilophosaurus)
  • Parasaurolophus 1993 (just for Jurassic Park)
  • Metriacanthosaurus 2015 (a skin based on the Jurassic World website design with added protofeathers on the head and back)
  • Jurassic Park Novel Skins (Tyrannosaurus Rex, Velociraptor, Dilophosaurus (though that should be a variant), Styracosaurus, Stegosaurus, Dryosaurus, Maiasaura, Parasaurolophus, Euoplocephalus, Cearadactylus, Pachycephalosaurus, Gallimimus, Apatosaurus, Carnotaurus with camouflaging capabilities, Microceratus, Hadrosaurus)
  • Teratophoneus 2018
  • Peloroplites 2018
  • Microceratus 2022 A
  • Microceratus 2022 B
  • Microceratus 2022 C

Dinosaur Updates:
Updated Carnotaurus Model to be more aligned with the movie model, with a slightly thicker head, the skins are slightly darker and toned down with slightly smaller horns too.

Pterosaurs able to walk on the ground:
This allows pterosaurs to wander along the ground of both the aviaries or in wild areas, particularly viable for Quetzalcoatlus, a species that spent much of its life on the ground.

Lagoon + Land + Air interactions:
These interactions can be encouraged by dinosaurs curious around the lagoon edge going towards the water when a Mosasaurus, Tylosaurus, Kronosaurus or Liopleurodon snatches them from the side, and there could be failed attempts like say a Mosasaurus grabs a Spinosaurus' tail and pulls it in a bit and the Spinosaurus just climbs out and roars back at its attacker. Then for pterosaurs, the medium pterosaurs could be diving down for fish, particularly the Pteranodon, Barbaridactylus, Cearadactylus, Maaradactylus and Geosternbergia, then when they try to exit the lagoon, a marine reptile comes up to try and grab them. Pterosaurs and Guests could also recreate the Zara death scene, when they drop a guest in water and try to get them out, and a large marine reptile comes up to eat both of them. When it comes to Pterosaurs and Land animals, Quetzalcoatlus in particular can confront large predators on the ground and try and intimidate them, and can be scared off to then fly away. Another behaviour could be smaller pterosaurs being able to perch on the packs of large sauropods like Dreadnoughtus, Mamenchisaurus, Brachiosaurus, Alamosaurus, Apatosaurus and Diplodocus.

Monorail Gates: These allow monorails to go through a Jurassic World Gate, as well as gates into aviaries and out the other side. The Monorail gets a glass tunnel when going through the aviary.

John Hammond Memorial Statue

Accessible Maintenance Tunnels which have over ground entrances but then travel underground like a path that ranger teams and MVUs can use to get around the park without having to travel through crowds of visitors.

Jurassic World Aviary: A large aviary with a cascading waterfall and various perch points on the cliffsides within it. It can also be placed on the slope of a mountain.

Jurassic World Building Amenity Designs: Basically amenity styles that resemble those of the shops from Jurassic World Evolution, and the shops of Main Street.

New Decorations: Glass Art Planter, Jurassic World Archway, Tyrannosaurus Rex Kingdom Archway, Souvenir Booth (small building from Main Street), Jurassic World Main Street Path, Jurassic World Walls, T-Rex skull Planter.

Holoscape: This new feature is a new decoration that can be placed around the park with a projection of each creature in the game doing its idle animations like what the dinosaur database does. Also a Mr. DNA hologram too. As well as Dinosaur Distribution Globe with holographic dinosaurs that can appear on their respective continents.

Innovation Centre Information Panels as placeable decorations

Dinosaurs able to break into aviaries like the Indominus Rex did in the movie

Placeable Runway

Camp Cretaceous Lodge, Gate and Zipline

Cretaceous Cruise Attraction that only runs through water bodies.

Ferry Dock as a new park entrance for the Huge Isla Nublar map

Mosasaurus Show Area: A combined five marine viewing galleries and shark feeder, with a fence isolating the feeding show area from the rest of the lagoon, with a space for the Mosasaurus or Kronosaurus to swim through.

Lagoon Fence: A lagoon decoration that can be placed in a lagoon to indicate a specific area where a lagoon creature swims.

Larger Hotels: Large Jurassic World Style Hotels that can be seen in the movie.

Aquatic Park: An area with pools and waterslides where guests can enjoy a time in the sun.

Jurassic World Amphitheatre

Tyrannosaurus Rex Kingdom Walls and Gate
