ISLA SORNA SAFARI. THE LOST WORLD.

Hello to all.. good day

Like my previous post on Isla Nublar, now I am on Isla Sorna and I wanted to make a safari experience but only with carnivores.

So I welcome you all to THE LOST WORLD SAFARI.

I realized this island was more suited to a safari build than any other as the buildable areas are arrange quite neatly for a one way route. Since tour trucks aren't in the game, again I improvised with the ranger jeeps. But this time there are hotels and attractions and such (as I wanted to see if a 5 star park was possible and the initial area was built intentionally for guests). When guests arrive they drop their bags off in their suits and relax a bit before going out into the main street. Here there are tons of stuff to do and buy. The staff only zone for the power stations and ACU and weather control are tucked neatly behind some tree lines. And all the power cables that go throughout across the park are hidden behind trees (most are) lol..

Then the tour starts. As shown in the pics below there's the innovation center, hatchery, science center, research center and fossil center. Here guests learn stuff about the park, the dinosaurs, operations, etc etc...

And finally the ranger jeeps where they venture off into the park.

These are the lovely residents of The Lost World in all their primal and animalistic glory.

And as always a video tour of the park. (though there were "unexpected" happenings along the way) hahaha. But that's the beauty of Isla Sorna.

Ive noticed that the monorail moves too slow to be a serious transit shuttle between station, so it got me thinking...

In lieu of the tracked tour vehicles I’ve been thinking of using the monorail. The main problems would be the limited view radius around the train and the fact that a monorail tour doesn’t count as an “attraction”.

Maybe in the future we can get two selectable modes on the monorail: standard moves faster than it does now and gives transit rating, while tour mode moves at current speed double view radius and counts as an ticketed attraction like the gyro that doesn’t provide transit. (In the film, the port shuttle that passed through the gates was bookin’ it, while the northern loop that brought kids to the gyroshere area seemed to move at a more leasurely pace so people could see the dinos.

yes i love this idea. the monorail currently CAN be used as an attraction hehe but it moves too fast and doesn't count as one. Should be added in the wishlist man
