Isla Tacano Build

Greetings all. Having more or less 'beat' the game, (completed all the missions & been awarded all the achievements), I've been revisiting & reworking some of my previous parks. Isla Tacano is probably my favourite map in the game. Not sure what it is about it, but I've probably spent more time here than some of the other islands combined.

When I first went back, I sold, demolished & flattened everything and started fresh. My goal for this version is to have as many species as possible, while maintaining a 5 star island rating. Here is my current layout:

Paddock 2: Tyrannosaurus rex (1)
Paddock 3: Carnotaurus (2)
Paddock 4: Dilophosaurus (4), Crichtonsaurus (1), Polacanthus (1)
Paddock 5: Velociraptor (5), Ankylosaurus (1), Nodosaurus (1),
Paddock 6: Deinonychus (4), Baryonyx (1)

Paddock 7: Indominus rex (1)
Paddock 8: Indoraptor (1)
Paddock 9: Sinoceratops (4), Triceratops (2), Edmontosaurus (2), Gallimimus (2), Struthiomimus
(2), Archaeornithomimus (2)
Paddock 10: Dracorex (2), Pachycephalosaurus (3), Stygimoloch (4)

Paddock 11: Tsintaosaurus (6), Corythosaurus (4), Styracosaurus (4)
Paddock 12: Pentaceratops (4), Chasmosaurus (4)
Paddock 13: Sauropelta (2), Torosaurus (2),
Paddock 14: Stegosaurus (5), Chungkingosaurus (2), Gigantspinosaurus (4), Kentrosaurus (3), Huayangosaurus (1)
Paddock 15: Muttaburrasaurus (7), Maiasaura (6), Parasaurolophus (6)

Obviously space is at more of a premium when trying to keep the facility rating at 5 stars, so the food, fun and shopping buildings as well as hotels are taking up a lot of room. I also have a large number of power plants. This is because all my fences are electrified concrete. While I'd like to just have regular fences in places, I feel I need the extra time the high-end fenced provide if my dinosaurs go crazy.

I've tried to design most paddocks with at least one 'spare' so if a dinosaur dies its friends won't immediately go nuts. However, a few paddocks are right on the limit, particularly the stegosaurian enclosure, where all the inhabitants are at exactly their minimum social requirements, while being at exatly the population limit of the stegosaurus.

Here are a few images of what I have so far:

Any suggestions or advice for how to use the remaining space (still lots of carnivores left), or rework the existing space? I may have to build a third creation lab to keep up with the perpetual cycle of dinosaur deaths. Even with all of the species engineered with the maximum possible lifespan, i'm still spending 2/3 of my time replacing dead assets.

Looks great and I envy your patience with your one Hammond creation lab, my paddocks need their own creation labs, otherwise it's too much of pain to constantly tranq and airlift dinos to their enclosures. That's me though.

Maybe I just don’t see all the guest amenities but dang! How do you keep them all satisfied. Getting their food/ drink/ fun rating are the hardest part for me

I'll tell you how to.
If you go to Guest Buildings, check every single one of 'em and pay attention to the * Stars stats.
For example, I think Bar has 5* Stars for Drink Rating.
Arcade has 5* Stars for Fun Rating.
Clothing Shop has 5* Stars for Shopping.
Restaurant or Fast Food, forgot which one but one of 'em has 5* Stars for Food Rating.
Now you'll really only need three or four of these, 5* Stars for each at every Viewing Platform/Gallery and Hotels.
There you go.

Also, mind how many customers they have.
If it says 320/320, then you need to employ another staff so the customer limit goes upwards.
The maximum is 1,200/1,200 with 5 employees.
I also find the third option for food, drinks, fun, shopping to be the best because more customers visit.

It's hard to see the guest buildings on the map with just the dinosaur view. Even my overhead shots obscure them a bit.

Like Ektope said, it helps having multiple types of guest buildings in clusters, near your hotels and viewing platforms. I try to have at least one 'fun', 'food/drink' and 'shopping' building per cluster, with an extra one, or a shelter/storm defense station. Then I just have to keep a monorail station somewhere nearby linking close to the park entrance and I "should" be good.

Things always go wrong eventually :)

I'll see if I can't get some better pictures up later.
