We are part of a wider organisation called 'The Ishtar Sovereignty', previously consisting of two like-minded squadrons who seek to foster diversity, nurture and mentor new players and make use of BGS to expand their territory. As the galaxy has evolved and become an ever more dangerous place, the Sovereignty has grown and expanded. The need has now arisen for the Sovereignty to defend itself more frequently and more aggressively. This is where ISSO comes in, a squadron of Combat pilots, both PVP and PVE focused who rather than spending their days trading or manipulating BGS, exploring or fighting Goids, spend their days roaming Ishtar space looking for threats to our citizens way of life and extinguishing those threats quickly and efficiently.
Ishtar Sovereignty Spec Ops, is not a place for wanderers, hobos, or business men, we're not specifically pirates, or specifically murderers, we don't go around Seal Clubbing or causing trouble just for the sake of it, we're just looking to defend our home. That said, we don't really care if you want to fight a Goid, work on a CG or if you like spending your spare time scanning planets, we will turn a blind eye if you're a pirate or a criminal (on the condition that you don't pirate or kill Ishtar Sovereignty Citizens) provided you're ready to fight when called upon and fight hard, in the name of the Sovereignty! You're under no obligation to enter into every fight, you can even choose the type of fight that you're interested in too, be it that you like PVE stuff like Bounty Hunting and War Combat Zones, or if your only interest is PVP, so long as you do fight. We don't care if you're pledged to a power, we're deliberately neutral.
In return for your loyalty, we arrange fortnightly PVP events, where we invite pilots from all over the Galaxy to compete, we offer our protection and assistance if you find yourself in trouble, experience and guidance in ship building, regular training if you want it and ad-hoc 'friendly spar' type fights whenever you fancy (when other CMDRs are online of course, we can't magic you a fight when people are asleep
) and we offer you a home.Apply in game, and on Inara Ishtar Sovereignty Spec Ops. New CMDRs can apply, provided you're prepared to train in Combat and defend the Sovereignty.
