Issue trading on 50 markets to unlock Lei Cheung

I have a problem unlocking engineer Lei Cheung because no matter what I do the count of markets traded in is at 12.


I have tried pretty much everything to try and fix it or trigger it to work.

here's everything I tried and if someone can see if i missed something and maybe help me fix it


I have went to the station I never traded in at first to sell hydrogen(1) and that didn't work
Then I got instructions from support that i should sell for profit at the stations i havent been in so i did that aswell
I bought and sold at the same station didnt go up
I took delivery missions and that didnt work
I went to the station with special/rare goods and took those to sell at different stations and that didnt work either
I tried to buy one thing at first station then go to the other one and sell that thing then buy another thing from that station, nothing happens still on 12/50

by the way these 12 trades are done passively I dont know where they came from but as i got to the point of unlocking Lei i noticed my number isnt going up from 12 and i have been trying to fix it ever since.

I talked with support but they told me that there is no work around that i should continue selling to stations and see if it starts working, I tried that but without any progress for a day.

Has anyone encountered the same issue as i did and got to a solution?

If yes please share with me.

If you tried all of this within one day, it might be that you haven't relogged.

I have an alt who had a similar problem with The Dweller, and relogging incremented the counter. If this is similar, you won't need to relog after every sale (the count will continue in the background), but you won't see the result or get the invitation until you relog.

No this is a known issue at the moment - black markets and normal markets statistics seem not to be updating. You have to raise a support request (ticket) about it and someone in support will hopefully flick a switch in your account to give access to the engineer. I had to do this for Lei Cheung - later I got the invite but stats have still not increased.

Nope, I have been trying for 3 days to get it working and did try relogging and validating the files both on the launcher and steam to see maybe something is about that but it did not help.

Yeah that is what support told me, that its a know issue but that they cant do anything about it and that im pretty much on my own, they didnt offer any solution other then wait for the patch wich they also said they dont know when it will be.

Hello,

All players must be impacted. I have raise a support ticket too yesterday. I still waiting their reply. I do hope they can manually switch a trigger to unblock me. Because it's impacting pretty much the main engineers.

Yeah i cant engineer my shields and my heatsink because of this issue and i need to on my vette so i sincerely hope they fix it asap
