Issue with Habitat Information Boards

For some reason, whenever I set a new habitat information board down, I can no longer choose an animal to provide info about. All it does is allow me to change the color or move it?!? Wth?

For some reason, whenever I set a new habitat information board down, I can no longer choose an animal to provide info about. All it does is allow me to change the color or move it?!? Wth?

UPDATE: I quit my game and reloaded. It's now working again. Ugh...
