Discussion Issue with Journal and planetary gravity not matching in game

Ok...several apps here including Captains Log, and ED Discovery report scanned planetary body gravity in a way that reflects what is in the game, however, in doing some research...I noticed that those apps, while accurate to the game, are not reflecting what is listed in the journal. For example...location redacted for reasons.

Notice what the log is showing for surface gravity, yet ED Discovery and Captains log are shoing as 13.66, and 13.7 respectively, so the Journal is reporting close to 10 times the actual gravity. The actual in game gravity was 13.66.

So, are those apps doing something behind the scenes to correct that value, or what is happening to get the correct value?

Gravity in the journal is in m/s^2 and gravity shown in-game is relative to Earth's gravity, so you need to divide the journal value by 9.80665.
