Issue with starting the Game

So I have a minor annoyance. I have an Alienware M15 laptop. When I attempt to start Odyssey using Command Center I am asked to login and then I get the please redeem/purchase message. When I start the game using steam or the desktop icon it works as advertised.

I'm not sure if it is a AWCC issue or an account linking issue. The game and laptop are completely updated and my Steam account is linked to Frontier.

Like I said it is a minor annoyance but it was working from the Command Center until yesterday.

Why not just go to your Steam library, select Elite Dangerous in the left-hand list, select "Manage" and then "Create Desktop Shortcut"- then all you have to do in future is double click that shortcut and hey presto, Robert is your mother's brother, up comes the Launcher. No need to go through the Steam loading process (it does that in the background to sit minimised) and presumably no need to run your Command Centre although I suppose that loads with windows.
