Things like specialised legacy firmware.

Where do we go again to collect this stuff in the game world? I've been using material traders near exclusively, and have ran out of materials.

Data points (fixed surface installations or POIs), data beacons (in signal sources), or mission rewards, mostly.

As above. Probably one of the most time--efficient ways of getting some of them now it to take missions for the high grade stuff and then use a material broker to trade down, plenty of missions offering 4-5 CIF for example if you're allied.

If you are allied, i guess you con get missions offering up to 5 Modified Embedded Firmware.

With the EncodedMaterial Trader, you can trade them down on rate 1:36.
So for 5 MEF you should receive 180 CIF.

That's the way I'd do it.
