This is my list with the 42 hours I've experienced so far, I'll probably update and edit with things in future. I wanted to keep all my issues in one place without echo'ing what others are saying elsewhere and feel like these could be improved, I've also posted a few solutions (maybe?) and suggestions.
• Pre-built Pieces
The pre-built pieces in game are wonderful for those not wanting to make a custom loop, twist, or turn, however, some prebuilt pieces in game are making for some unsmooth transitions. Some examples include both boomerangs in which the normal variant has a straight piece as part of its prebuilt lifthill, which means we get this awkward straight piece between the loop and second lifthill, and the Inverted Boomerang had a 12M long piece you would have to place in Planet Coaster 1, I think 2 has a smaller piece but it's still an awkward looking piece. The Eurofighter coasters drops could be improved either by scalabe towers, or maybe the smaller lifthill cuts off at the top and we draw the beyond 90 degree part ourself?
• Splashdown Pieces
I thought the splashdown piece on the log flume in Planet Coaster 1 was too small, making anything even remotely high with the fixed angle of the drop, and small splashdown makes the transition very abrupt. To make things worse, The Antique Log Flume has a more small/tiny splashdown, so small that the log car sits at an awkward angle before it hits the water. Some other splashdowns on water coasters, and the non inverting B&M coaster could also use some work, Scalable pieces may work? I love the 4 in a row water coaster, it can used to look like a Giant Flume, which brings me to my next issue
• Splashes
The splash effect on the new 4 in a row coaster has a pathetic splash, it's small, I'm hoping in a future update we can get a giant splash that goes far and hits passers by
• Lazy Rivers
Making a lazy river in game can be a bit clunky, I find that making anything wider than 6/7 wide, guests start swimming backwards or just hang about in 1 spot. Maybe more powerful jets? or an option for wider rivers? Also the lifeguards could use a bit of work for rivers? maybe the scenery chair having a more widespread view rather than distance, also on that note, can we, whilst placing lifeguard, have the other lifeguards viewing area show up so we can see what parts of pools aren't already covered?
• Pricing
I'm unsure if it's been fixed in the new update, but in career mode in the first park outside of the tutorial, I have a good realistic coaster and guests won't pay anything higher than $3 to ride it, however, they will pay $8 for a Helter Skelter, speaking of tutorials...
• Staff Scheduling
Can we please, Pleeeeease get a little dropdown menu in a staff members panel so we can select a zone? It's so frustrating to open up a big menu, then select schedule, then set a staff zone by select advanced settings there, we keep going in and out of menus and it's not good.
• The tutorial Parks
There's a lot more that I think should be taught before throwing us into the first proper career park. I had no idea what to do with Retail Ravers, then when I got past that, I needed to keep guests happy and had no idea how to guide my staff in the right direction, you should teach staff zones before coming out of tutorial parks
• The "Frenzy Frill"
It's animated well, but can we move that ride operator hut back a little.
• The Pirate Ship
For whatever reason, the wheels underneath the pirate ship seem to be clipping through some blue texture, it looks like glass but I don't think it is?
• The Behemoth Swing
There are multiple parts on the Behemoth Swing that clips, guests feet clip through the frame when it's at it's highest, and through the platform where guests board, did somebody forget to animate that platform sinking into the ground?
• The Sky Beam
It's waaaaay too close to the ground, there's no raising/lowering platform, the behemoth at least has a platform and some space between the feet and floor, feet choppers are not good.
• The Mecha Roller
The animation for the last 2 sequences (Forward Dive and Big Dive Flips?) the rest of the motion seems alright, but as soon as it does these 2, it seems really fast, too fast.
• Slide Duplication
I think we need some slide duplication, especially for those building racing slides, there's been a few times now where I've started building, put snap on so that I can line up the slides perfectly, It'd be so much easier if I could press a button and duplicate it to the side and have my 4/5 racing slides together, I guess we need a ride sync/chain for this too, and also maybe a mirror option? I don't know if that would be possible but some tube slides are racers but mirrored, and a simple mirror would be more accurate
• Slide Snapping
Basically for the above, creating racing slides has means we get a bit of a gap between each one, an option to snap them together would be wonderful, I know the flume ends can't be snapped together, but a different kind of end for these types of slides would be great.
• Rotation/Angle snap
Whilst messing around with some paths, whilst deleting sections of paths to make my own shapes, there's no rotation snap option under the delete tool
So I have to go back to "add path" and then turn it off, and then I can use it without the snap on, also brush size for painting paths is in a different menu than the path selector, why is all this separate and not in 1 menu? I find this sort of thing with some other menus where if you're building a coaster, tunnelling, turning off supports, or angle snap is sometimes in a different tab rather than where we need it to be.
• Some form of Symmetry Tool
There have been times in the past in Planet Coaster 1, but more so now with the waterslides and how to end them in a pool, sometimes they're not lined up and I don't think it's possible to build backwards with the water slides, some form of tool to get things aligned would be grand, especially for racing coasters
• The Coaster Cameras
There's no doubt that coasters are a lot smoother with the new cam, however you decided to change the Wild Mouse camera which was fine in Planet Coaster 1, but now it turns way too early. Some coasters and tracked rides seem to be jittering too, as if they're snapping or trying to turn to the angle as well, log flume cams have an issue with the view going through the log/boat, the airpowered coaster's front bumper camera is super shakey, and a lot of cams seem to be going through guests, we either get an inside of a head, bodypart, or a restraint.
• Flat Ride Manufacturers
All coasters have manufacturers, it seems a bit bizzare to me that the flat and others do not.
• The Helter Skelter
the Helter Skelter doesn't have mats.
• The Board Slide
Could we get a version of this that has the circular carriage/car? And also, the "track" has a gap underneath, usually these will have paths underneath them but for whatever reason in both this, and Planet Coaster 1, we can't place a path through it, could get make that possible please?
• The Cube
It's good to know rides weren't just ported from Planet Coaster 1 but, come on...
