Newcomer / Intro It seems to quiet in the RES sites

Hi all,

A couple of questions:

1) Lately things have been quiet on the RES front. After about 30 minutes of hunting and scouting in a RES location I managed to only kill one adder with a bounty of 13K - is this normal? Am I just going through a dry spell?

2) Also where should I consider hunting - at NAV beacons or RES sites? Which one offers a higher probablity of finding WANTED ships?

3) And finally, does the level and skill of the NPCs level up as I upgrade to better ships? Does it adapt to my ship in other words?

Have you tried to pop in and out of the RES sites? It resets the instance I believe and in my experience will roll the dice again as to whether you're lucky to get the one that spawns the anacondas, dropships, pythons and clippers... that is if that's what you're shooting for.

I've had good luck out at an RES site at Copitanii in Empire space. Only thing is its not as brightly lit up as some RES so watch out for those pesky space rocks if you decide to scope it out there.

Haven't spend much time at NAV beacons so I can't comment on those and as for skill levels I haven't noticed it changing much from the time I started but that may change in update 1.3

1) It only looks that way. Last night I cashed in 5M in bountys in RES. Good instance, only big ships.
2) I would recommend RES over NAV for bigger and better rewards.
3) Nope. It's random.

In addition to my predecessors. I do think it also has something to do with the power the present wanted-ships party has. e.g. When you check the systems status and all the parties that suggest an anachic character like "only care for their own rules" etc. have a very low %-value. I think the ships that you will find in any res in that system are smaller and weaker.... I could be wrong but i think it would make sense.

As you can influence the power of a party by doing ther missions OR killing them you might just have changed their power under a certain level so they don't spawn as often.
