Ive worked out that its the nebula labelled BLEAE ASCS AA-A H25 but from the direction I'm approaching the area from it looks very creepily like a tormented face.

Ah, yes. Also had that creepy experience when out exploring. From certain angles the Omega nebula looks like Venom.
