It's a shame me and many ps4 players won't be able to join in with the formidine rift mystery...

as veteran of all previous elite games, i cant help but feel sad that as ps4 player i will end up missing out on a chance to be involved with the formidine mystery in the galaxy. i feel just reading forums the various threads and watching everyone working together is not enough, and i'm hoping that i and the many other ps4 players will be able to play a small part in solving the best mystery in elite lore.

to all pc and xbox players i wish you the best of luck and hope to join you in the black soon

Given the 'mystery' has been fomenting for 2 years now I think (?), I do not think its going to dissapear too soon. D Braben has also, repeatedly said that PS4 players will be joining the ED universe at a 'very exciting time'. What we know is that there have been expansions of asteroid bases into the non-bubble, there is a push to perhaps 'colonise' the Pleiades, the Colonia initiative is continuing and perhaps expanding, there are numerous locked systems that are obviously placeholders for special events / discoveries that are yet to be implemented, the Guardians mystery has not been fully resolved (The Guardian outcasts may still be out there), Dav Scott noted in a livestream that there was human outposts outside the bubble yet to be located, there is of course the Thargoids, and during one of the original fiction diaries by M Brookes, he noted that human made AI's had escaped into deep space....

My gosh we still have plenty do be involved in... chin up and go well Commander!

Since I don't have the PC version or the xbox version the whole thing is pretty much a mystery to me. Plenty of stuff to explore for the ps4 users.

well i have a theory that we might get to play on 29th, mainly because it would make sense to have more players involved with the story at that point. and also because of the big announcement by salome.

either way i can't wait to fly out in to the unknown

I think this as well.

Patience CMDR's. Frontier is making sure you guys will get the best possible experience. Reason why they are cautious with release dates. But, patch 2.3 did some amazing stuff with the console version.

It runs smoother as ever before. You guys will love it!

there is only so many videos and screenshots you can look at before you go mad, i can't handle it anymore i need to pop my sidewinder cherry i hate being a ps4 elite virgin arggggggggggggggggg

Hey buddy Im also a PS4 user but bought a second hand xbox one for $70 just to play ED....Go ahead they are cheap second hand ;)

unfortunately second xbox ones still out of my price range here in England at the moment, but i have started saving just in case ps4 version delayed

You have to look for BROKEN XBOX...Alot of Xbox have broken wireless (like mine) and they sell for €50-€70...Just use a long usb cable for your controller and off you go! (ofcourse you need to plug your xbox directly in modem,not with wifi)

Shhhh!!! You'll give FDev ideas. Bad ideas... "If we postpone PS4 release, people will buy it on Xbox / PC now, and again on PS4 later. PROFIT!!"

I instead went and bought NMS for $16 to hold me over. That's right, FDev, your delays are driving me to the competition, muhahaha! So you better release PS4 ED soon, soon, soon, if you want that PROFIT :)

I really am starting to think the delay on the release on the PS4 is because of PSVR. If this is the case then it will be E3 before we actually see this out for PS4. I want to be wrong but starting to really look like that might be the case.

I have platinum trophy on NMS but believe me , Elite is still way better :)

it would be perfect that Helo games joins Frontier,just for the planetary landings on planets with atmosphere and life ;)

yeah i got no man's sky to try and take the edge off not having elite dangerous, got platinum trophy after a week playing it now its boring as hell and no where near as good as i thought it would be.

No delay so far. Was scheduled for release in Q2, is still scheduled for release in Q2, it is still Q2. FDev say its still on track for Q2 release (waiting on 'other dependencies'), but that could still be as far aways as mid - end June of course!

Naw I don't see any Delays FD has said they are on target to hit the planed release date. They narrowed it down to a 3 month time period back in December. I know we all want it ASAP, But this is a great experience take a moment to enjoy it. Just as Dec 1st to Christmas day is for a child. Moments of big anticipation is a great feeling something you will remember the rest of your life! I decided to join in on the PS4 launch even though I had a high end PC to game on. I wanted to join in on that excitement leading up to the day I finally received my PS4 then playing it for the first time. I also enjoy sharing it with every one here. Fun Times for every one,,, NOW where is Elite dangerous I want it Yesterday!! :mad::):D:p
