It's been almost a month since the last update. Communication please?

They asked for files conserning zoos with feeding issues. Did you send them your yet? If not, I would do so if I were you

Yes i did and you will not get a reaction on it.... look at the forum there are more people who complain about this.....
+ the fact that there are animals starving because the feeders are not getting filled should not happen....

Communication has become very quite since the last update. 1.1.1 update and the festive period started it has brought many issues for a lot of players and the only response to my knowledge was a CM telling people to use the issue tracker which lead to a huge slating of the issue tracker. Besides that I personally have not really seen much activity from the developers which is worrying considering the number of threads regarding issues, bugs and strange AI behaviours.

I have personally had a lot of issues which resulted in me losing another 250 hours franchise zoo. It would be quite funny if the next communication is another paid DLC.

Weekly updates were done because the game was just released and there were some priority bugs that needed to be fixed and that's when updates will go out. They gave us 1 big thing with scaling down the speed of time. THANKS Frontier! Bo had asked for everyones patience.

The devs only read stuff here, the devs never respond. But there are plenty of responses from the Community Managers.

Also not using the Issue Tracker, will eventually also lead to "problems" never being fixed.

IF you want to know whether any devs are actively working on the game: check here: https://steamdb.info/app/703080/

Just curious, what does record update mean? What happened in the game? Is it like minor bug fixes that aren't announced, someone taking a look into the code orwhat kindof action is it?

That is when the game is updated in Steam, but that updated version can still be closed off to public.
If you want to know if a game is still being updated. check there.

I'm expecting a update pretty soon:

Using a third party website about possible changes to the Steam database does not replace active communication to and with the community.

It gives enough information if you want it. But I get others rather beg till eternity for a response wich will tell you nothing untill you see the patch notes.
My response was to Eewrie who asked if there even was any activity at all. Which there (obviously) is.

This thread is about communication by Frontier, with which many, among the OP, are not happy. If you are among the one being happy just reading patch notes that's ok.
Others are not, for example those even not being able to play the game.

I'm merely answering another user's question.

Hiya!

Thanks for your thoughts and feedback - I just wanted to let you know that we are always reading the forums and reply to threads wherever and whenever we can. The past two/three weeks after Arctic release we did announce on our platforms that we'd be quieter during the holiday period as most of our team was off celebrating with their families :) we did check in during that time, but responses were limited! You can blame me for that if you like, as the team worked incredibly hard and deserved some time away from their computers ;)

Now that we're back we're picking things up again; normal Wednesday streams are back in action, we're planning another competition, and a small update is coming this week as well - this is what the dev team have been working on since Arctic. After that update they'll work on the next one, etc. We're making lots of plans and will continue to tackle things based on your feedback here and the Issue Tracker.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we're always here so don't worry about your feedback not being read or addressed <3
