Yeah been posted before, personally i couldn't understand why you'd recreate one of the worst computer keyboards ever made (yes i know about the ZX80, i had one).

I don't have much nostalgia for the "dead leech" keyboard. Once it starting giving me bother I ripped it off and put my Spectrum in a Dk'Tronics case.

The speccy had character and still does. Most of the 8/16 bit computers did.

Then the PC came along. We've seen some mind boggling improvements since the 80's but no PC I have ever used has any character at all. I'd pause to sell the spectrum, amiga 500/1200 but a windows PC is a replaceable bit of tech which I have no attachment to.

I hope this project works out for them. I'd be happy being able to use the shell of my zx81 with an R Pi. Now that was design magic, the ZX81. ;)

A friend of mine at school had that keyboard for his Speccy, while I still had my rubber membrane one. I'd never seen anything so beautiful in my life. <sniff> :)
