It's it true that massacre missions stack?
So if you have 7 missions for the same faction each kill counts towards all 7 missions. I'm not sure this works in practice

No, it doesn't work unless you have different mission givers for each mission - that is missions come from different factions
If all the missions are from the same giver, 1 kill will count only toward a single mission, when that mission completes, the kills will count toward the next mission and so on.

You can stack assassination/take down missions with a massacre mission from the same faction however. Any of the named targets also count for the massacre.

Back in the auld days they used to stack. Not now I'm afraid. But if you manage to get a few pilots together for a wing, the wing missions still stack. If four of you take part in taking down one single pirate then that counts as four pirates for the tally

If you're referring to where this was stated in a thread yesterday, it was very clearly stated that the massacre missions need to be from different factions. This thread seems to be disproving something that was not said.

Its rare, but sometimes multiple factions offer massacre missions to kill the same faction. In that case one kill will count to one of the missions from each faction. From memory, HR 4637 is such a system, so if you see it at war, it might be worth a trip over there.

Pangaligara (not checking that spelling) is a similar system for Imperials, where those guys just want all kinds of massacre on their neighbors.

Pangilagara, I lied, I checked it. Thanks EDDB.
