It's really inconvenient to claim bounties from different factions.

Look at this picture and try to image you need to claim those bounties from different starports of different factions.
It's really inconvenient! Coundn't we claim them all from pilots federation?

The funny thing is.. You can pay off your Imperial/Alliance/Federation bounties anywhere, at any time, in any station.. But you can't collect bounties?! The local system ones I can understand - since they're independent - but the major faction bounties? Not so much.

It almost makes sense since there won't be a Federation/Imperial/Carebear rep there to pay you, at an opposing faction station, but then again, how can they accept monies?!

I had that same issue. I collected a 40,000Cr bounty from an Asp (or an Orca, I can't recall). I thought I hit the jackpot... But it was for Alliance - 170LY away.. Fantastic.

Of course I know I can claim bounties of Imperial/Alliance/Federation in their starports.
The main problem is inconvenient to claim bounties from independent local systems.
You need to go to their starport, in their system.

Since people could pay all bounties and eliminate any criminal record by pilots federation in any starports, why can't we claim bounties as the same way?

Most of this is your fault. let me show you. Any independent station. You should pay for that before you leave the area.

Now Federation, Empire or Alliance. Try to stay between two borders. So you don't have to worry about them. One will be a long hall.

As a rich freelancer, I have a best Python, a best Type-9, and a lot of credits.
I post this thread here as a SUGGESTION, not a COMPLAINT.
I DON'T NEED and DON'T CARE those POOR bounties at all,
and may never go to those independent starports to claim them specially - Even I pass their systems!
No matter FD fix it or not, to me, it's all fine.

Just want to remind FD...
IS IT REALLY GOOD FOR YOU TO KEEP SO MANY JUNKY DATA IN YOUR SERVER?

Also for a eg, you could find 49,318 cr bounty in Durius Dominon in my record.
The distance is about 280,000 ls between the star/nav beacon and their starport.
Run 280,000 ls for 50,000 cr? It isn't cool, sincerely.
