I shall pop back to HQ tonight to see the girls in the back office, they do seem to like to hear tales of daring-do from the heroic space adventurers. Mind you by the time I get back to HQ I will have more tales of true combat than you can shake a stick at. For the last few days it has been impossible to get from the insertion point of my HQ system to the space port without being interdicted at least once by enforcers from the Alliance. Sometimes they are on their own, in which case they die, and sometimes in wings of three, in which case I run away (often repeatedly). My current record is four interdictions on one trip each time it took place when I was only a few seconds from exiting supercruise at the space port, so there was no way of avoiding them. The enforcers are like flies in the desert - they come from nowhere, no matter how many you kill there are always more and they are a damned nuisance.
Furthermore it was clearly impossible to get in and out, or venture into contested territory, with my trusty old T6 and I needed to trade. So I was forced to sell the old girl, along with my lovely DiamondBack Scout (a little ship with lots of character, I loved it) and, at vast expense and no little trouble, fit out an Asp as an armed merchantman. Then the developers resurrect credit farming at Nav points and RESs, so I could have skipped trading after all. Grrrr.
