I have the game on pre-order, and from watching the premier on Twitch the other day I saw David mention that everyone will be able to play the tutorials from today onwards. It's two hours (GMT) in and I cannot find a download for it in the store or mention of it anywhere. How does one get his ass in a (tutorial) ship?

Seriously, though. They said 'Wednesday', they didn't promise right at midnight.
New Beta versions are usually released between 5 and 8 pm (UK time) as far as I saw. But that, too, doesn't mean anything.
I guess we just have to wait to find out. Complaining now is not gonna make it any faster...

I'm not too sure although i think its only backers and kickstarters that can play the game including the tutorial missions available on the main menu.
Methinks it was the 22nd that the cutoff happened.
If you bought it after then you'll have to wait until release on the 16th (Not 100% sure though sorry if i'm wrong)

That's not correct , David Mentioned that all Pre-order-ers will get access to training missions on Wednesday

I really should have just paid the extra for beta considering how much this game is costing me so far...

My computer is pretty up to date but if surprisingly I can't play at max setting I'll have to upgrade that too.

I confess i stayed up until after midnight on the hope that the store would just be set to 'activate' my download link at midnight.
I'm itching to just play this, new joystick, new headset, edtracker enroute, everything is all set up and ready to go....... I have a feeling that even with the tutorial missions, the 16th is going to be a long wait.

Seriously, when I was a kid and wanted to have a new game or a joystick or anything I had to beg my parents for ages. Now I'm grown up, got a job and don't have to report to anyone how much I spent on my gaming gear. It's nice to have that freedom.
