I get the impression that the bounties are applied to the ships/modules, not the CMDR? Is this correct?
If so, does that mean I can essentially make a "hot" fleet of wanted ships, whilst having an effectively "clean" fleet elsewhere?
What I'm saying is, can I have one Cobra for piracy, and other criminal activities, that will be more of a pain to run, whilst my trade Cobra that only ships algae will be free to fly? In other words, if a bounty hunter caught me in my 100% clean trade ship, would blowing me up yield no rewards, whilst on the other hand, if I were flying the pirate ship, it would yield a reward for the bounty hunter?
There's also this "notoriety" thing. I'm assuming that this is attached to the CMDR, not the ship? How does this side of things work?
