I've done a bit of research and it seems 1000 peeps cost 1-2 fps.

When my park is empty I get about 25 FPS. I limit the amount of guests to 1000, open the park and as the 1000 are in my park, FPS drops to 24-23.

I up the limit to 3000 and it drops to 21-20 and so on.

It seems to level out at 9-11 FPS with 8000 in my park, which is like a slide show sped up.

It does seem the peeps are the killer. I personally wouldn't mind if all the peeps dressed and looked the same to ease demand on the graphics.

Also, there are loads of details that peeps have that you don't really notice, like as they walk the clothes move and have crease lines.

The FPS decrease isn't caused by the detail of the people, it's caused by all the calculations for those people

It's actually the CPU that's worst affected. What are your system specs? I have an i7 6700k and GTX 1070 and manage 24-40fps with 6k peeps 22 rides on 1080p maxed settings full screen.

You need a quad core CPU with at least 3.4Ghz clock speed.
