I imagine by now that one point of notoriety has worn off, so go to a nearby system (not in the system where the bounty was issued) and pay it off.

Handing yourself in is the only way to get rid of a superpower bounty in odyssey.

I tried going to a system where there weren't any factions of the superpower that was after me present, and that did make it appear on the interstellar factors menu, but selecting it didn't actually go through and clear the bounty. Ha ha ha ha ha time to relog into horizons.

edit: and then I relog into horizons and the bounty isn't even there so it's a bleedin' display bug and the IF did clear it after all. ARGH.
