Is it me, or have the people who try to convince you to drop a mission all given up now? I've not had one since 1.6 dropped. Maybe they finally got the hint after the five thousandth time of ignoring them

When it worked properly, it was a great addition to the game..ie I was doing an assassination mission (225k payout) in 2.0 when I decided to drop down expecting the usual pathetic counter-offer & was actually offered 3 times the reward..this happened about 4-5 times but unfortunately, more often it was less than the original mission! Is it me, or have the people who try to convince you to drop a mission all given up now? it was a also a very valid way to nuke a minor factions influence ... take a mission from them, and then take the alternative offer. i haven't seen one of those in 2.1.
It was talked about in one of the streams. Mission-changing parameters are gone.
Instead, we now have only a chance for mission to be "spiced" by added bonus and whatnot.
That's sad. Because you could take missions before which goals were working against the faction you are / were supporting, to just switch sides and betray those who were scheming. Sometimes at least. I guess those guys just got smarter now because of *peep* like me![]()
