Ive had 3 instances of ED Odyssey freezing in the last hour.

Ive had 3 instances of ED Odyssey freezing in the last hour. The computer is stabile so I suspected server issues.

Im returning after a 2 year hiatus and dont remember having these kind of issues back then. The games freeze and I lose control of HOTAS and mouse. I have then rebooted the game and it was fine until the next freeze. The first event caused me to almost crash into a star.

DownDetector doesnt show any issues so Im wondering if its related to game stability.

The problem seems to be resolved. I uninstalled 2 Steam Utilities (OVR Tool Kit) and another utility with a duck icon to reduce aliasing. Apparently it only works with pancake displays, not VR. I also turned off all notifications as well. After doing this I had no issues.

Never had issues with OVR Toolkit. My bet would be on the AA tool.
