I've not been shot at by a Human yet.

Interdiction's from PvP'ers seem to be vastly overstated.....been in open now for a couple of weeks and still haven't been shot at by a human. When I do see a CMDR they jump into FSD.

I have been dragged out of super-cruise a few times only to find no one there.........is this down to a laggy network connection?

I believe it is do to the p2p networking. It's usually someone else's NPC dragging you out.

Same here. People are allways complaining abou thow they just lost seventy kajilion cedits because some guy blew them up fo rno reason. I wish I oculd do PVP but I'm not a pirate and no one wants to interdict me.

Flying a T6 around I was interdicted a lot by players - particularly around rare hubs like Altair, Lave etc. Player pirates kinda made the game for me as a trader, something gotta keep you on edge!

Now I am flying an Asp, I never get interdicted.

Well I haven't been shot at much until tonight. Dropped into a system looking to sell on a load of gold and technical blueprints when bang interdicted. Oh well I thought. Ill drop out spool up the FSD and run off as I dont usually engage if Ive got a full hold of goodies. Im not loaded with wonga and a full cargo loss has a bite for me so I did my run away to SC. Within seconds interdicted again by another different human. I thought again oh well same tactic. This time the fsd cooldown was ridiculous. Got shot up a bit while trying to spool it up. Escaped. Result. Hmm a few seconds and I mean like bearly entered SC and again pulled out by a 3rd human. This is crazy. I was in no fit state the third time so my run away tactic fell short as I blew up just as the FSD kicked in arrrgggh. There was no coms of piracy from any of the ships which gave me no choice but to try to avoid getting killed. I really wish I hadnt got a cargo hold full of booty or I would have turned on the first one and minced his ass. I have no issue with pirates its fun, I have no issue with bounty hunting, I do it as one of my multi roles but killing people just for the hell of it when they are just couriering from A to B is just not at all cricket. If they want PvP action then give my a little nudge from SC when I'm not lugging cargo and I'll gladly play. Shooting me up the rear end as I try to go about my business is damn right annoying and completely unsportmanly (or even manly for that matter).

I invite you to fly around in a hauler or type 6, that should catch some attention. Or just fly without weapons, someone is bound to notice that. I've been interdicted in my fully armed viper once by a sidewinder that was shooting on sight.

Strange people out there ...

Well, I've been playing in open for a month now... And I still haven't even seen another player. I don't know if I could even spot one unless I've scanned one and see CMDR in front of the name. I'm not that far from Sol. Only about 50 - 100 Ly away. And my home system is a conflict zone.

Real human players show up as hollow triangles/rectangles on the scanner. So a solid square/rectangle is an NPC with weapons retracted, and a hollow square/rectangle is a human with weapons retracted, same goes for triangles being solid/hollow.

If you don't have a substantial bounty, then I have no interest in interdicting you. Piracy doesn't make very much money, and is more trouble than it's worth in many cases.

I was shot at for the first time since release last night (Warzones excluded) by some idiot in an Anaconda. He interdicted me and immediately started shooting. I bailed, so he followed and got me out again. I'll give it to him, it was way harder to avoid his interdiction than all NPC's so I ended up submitting a second time. He got my hull down to 85% before I could escape to another system. It was mildly annoying.

Nope, I haven't seen anything like that.
