Yup. Always gets me because of the HUGE BLOODY SPACE STATION COMING AT ME.

The first ~10 times I jumped to another system I screamed due to the very large, very hot ball of burning gas that appeared before my eyes and rapidly speeding up ship.

When I explore, I have ORION set my speed to 0 mid jump.

Try approaching the right way, "through the orbit elevator" as in AC Clarke. That way, you will never ever see this.

I remember warping into Bacon Port in Gliese 868 one time and Thor's hammer was pointed right at my canopy, looked like a giant fist getting ready to punch me in the face. Good thing I don't have Oculus Rift or I may have crapped my pants.
