Jacques or Jaques?

Michael Brooks pronounced it as 'Jacks' at Lavecon.

As far as spelling goes it is 'Jaques' and the cyborg bartender first makes his appearance in the Elite universe in the collection of short stories that came packaged with Frontier: Elite II.

Problem is they keep saying both

Most of the misspellings as 'Jacques' comes from player-submitted news articles. Frontier didn't do a good job catching the error so it made out into the wild.

I really should have researched my answer.
The phonetic spelling I gave above was for jacques.

Apparently the correct pronunciation for jaques is "jakes".

So there you go!

Hands up to being a pillock.
I knew it was French but assumed the site I got my info from was for French, it wasn't.
However I just realised there is no guarantee it is a French station. So everything I said could be right or wrong!
