Jameson Memorial Open Day

I was lucky enough to be aware of KS pre development. As such I have enjoyed the benefits of easy ship outfitting at Jameson Memorial since first playing.
I see people I play with struggling to find specific modules they require.
So I wonder, would it not be reasonable to allow the galaxy's non-Elite access to Founders World once a month, or at least as an annual celebration of the games release.

I am biased, since I don't have access, but I think maybe an annual of bi-annual "Open House Day" would be kkinda cool

As long as whatever they do fits with their game lore for the faction. I mean the ~~Pirates Federa~~.. sorry Pilots Federation are a fine upstanding bunch according to the lore. However it seems we have a new breed of PF. Don't know if charity is one of their new goals.

I don't have access to JM and i think it will be unfair to have it "once a month" etc.

Sure - further degrade any distinction/benefit from having been an early backer or having reached Elite.

Would certainly fit in with a typical FD decision.

Surprised they didn't think of it themselves...

I am not a backer so as such I have no access at the moment and I for one do not want it until I have earned it the hard way, I am now off to whip my self for thinking what a good idea

Founders World doesn't really offer anything unique now. Sirius Corp or any place with permanent 20% discounts has better deals on everything.

No need to get upset.

I'm in favour of some kind of annual event. I think monthly would take away much of the fun of reaching Elite rank. And it also wouldn't be fair against KS backers.

Agree!! Annually, maybe on the date of the game release..

I was thinking more for the benefit of having all modules stocked there, not the discount. Oh, and ofc, ships too!

Annual "Pilot's Day" celebrations wins a plus one good idea star from this privileged KS backer. It's a nice idea that's lore-friendly and a fun way to celebrate each Elite year.
