Jaques Rare Commodity -- Price Cut-Off, or Exponential?

So now that Jaques Station is wayyyy out there, how does it work with the rare commodity you can buy there? I know rares increase in value the further away you go, but in this case, is there a point where the price doesn't increase any further? Or can I buy as much as I can and make a fortune when I get back to the bubble? I haven't been able to find info on the matter on the wiki or eddb.io

I'm on my way back from Jaques after my first visit now, no cargo space, but was wondering about the future.

DUNNO... had 20 of them but in a moment of lax attention smashed into an HMC and blew my asp apart quarter way back to bubble.......................then forgot to buy more on RE-departure.
Costly for many reasons by the look

but no longer read forums while approaching the ground, lesson # 5748 learnt, what a game
