Jeep and train tours

I didn't get a chance to try the jeep and train tours very much during the beta, but I'm thinking how I might want to use them when our LONG wait for the full version ends.

If I had 2 separate jeep or train routes with 2 or more stations on each could the guests get off of one midway and get on the other one? In other words, try to picture 2 separate tour loops that start at opposite sides of the zoo but come close to each other at the halfway point. Could guests get off of one tour and continue on the other tour to go back to the start? Also, are walking paths able to cross the tour route tracks or would they need bridges or tunnels?

Thanks

Bridges and tunnels would be needed.
In theory, the double loop option would work assuming:
1. there was a reason for guests to get on the second train
2. I would think not all guests would get on the second train because of the dynamics on how the guest AI works...but if that was their only option....you would have to test this to see how it works.

I hope a tutorial/scenario explains it to us :p

I like the double loop option, didn't think about that one. Forcing visitors to stay in your zoo...

like in Planet Coaster - - I would expect someone in the community would put something out on this. Frontier typically does not as this is more of a game logistics scenarioinstead of a have to know tutorial type situation.

The double loop should work. Especially if each loop is passing through habitats that are not accessible by the other loop. This concept worked in Planet Coaster with the train ride and the monorail and chairlifts and other transport rides.

Advice would be to have a path leading to the area between the two loops. There should be a plaza area that includes restrooms and ATM's. Possibly have at least one habitat that contains animals that can't be seen on the other loop on each loop that is accessible to the guests only by that loop. As wowman said, "there was a reason for guests to get on the second train".

Thanks guys for the replies. My thoughts are to have multiple large safari type enclosures with multiple species in each. Instead of having one large jeep or train loop going through all of them I was thinking 2 separate loops starting at opposite sides and they would meet somewhere in the middle. At that point I could have a station for each of the tour loops where guests could get off of one and on the other one. Yes, I had already thought of having a kind of a plaza with all the guest and staff support buildings.

I have been rough drawing my zoo layout idea and this double loop idea is for now on the farthest side of the map away from the zoo entrance. Drawn in pencil so it may change. Of course this all just speculation depending on what is actually included with the full release version.

I tried the trains in beta but they were seriously bugged , they arrived at a station , the gate to let people off the ride opened and then the train sat there before pulling away with no one on it , also i tried changing the wait times at the stations but it kept reverting back to the original timings , In the end i deleted them as no one was able to use them and they were costing me a fortune to have them running

I plan for my train to loop the outside of the majority of my zoo (minus staff buildings and such). I plan on having the Jeep transport loop through the African, Asian and Austrailian sections using those doors. And the water boat transport will loop through habitats with water in/near them. I had planned on having a train station at the entrance and on on the opposite side of the zoo. Now, I'm wondering if I should have two or more trains. Also, if you have two train loops that meet somewhere in the middle if your zoo, could the exit of one be a closed walkway to the entrance of the other and vise versa? So, your guests would exit one train via the exit path that abuts the entrance path to the other train.
