General / Off-Topic Jeep driver films himself driving over Trump sign, video goes viral

I have a bad feeling about this fellow.

Many of his opponents in the US and in the world seem to be finding ways to lampoon him. Poking fun at his characteristics.

This man is dangerous. Perhaps one of the most dangerous potential leaders the world has seen since the 1930s.

This man is serious. He isn't joking. He means what he says and he is determined to do what he says.

There are too many only too willing to buy his claims of making America great again. As if it needs to be. America is already great.

This man is about to demonstrate why it has been such a mistake to allow a single nation, run by a single individual, to have this much power in the world.

Each president since bush senior has given the USA a very bad name, only known for trying to police the world and uprooting many governments for their own advantage.

If you think that Trump is bad that I suggest you do more research

I have to be careful about what I say about our 'Colonial cousins' and had a post recently changed; just for the use of the A word. Anyway, back to the Chump. I believe the more we want this situation to change. The more we live in hope that common sense to prevail, the less change it will.

One thing to consider: Trusted Ted, is an even greater psycho than the Chump.

I don't think he can win a general election. I think it's just a sign of how disconnected the conservatives in America are that think he can win, to give him the nomination. His nomination pretty much guarantees another Democratic presidency. The Republican establishment know that too, which is why they've been trying to sabotage him.

I believe that Barack Obama has (to the best of his ability) tried to make USA a better place, and to clean up the mistakes made by his predecessors. OK, he has been a bit hobbled by having to deal with a hostile Senate, but at least he made a go of it.

Yeah, you too. Since Bush Senior? What about ... ehmmmmm... Nixon and the other bunch of corrupt "leaders" who lead the nation into war after war?

That's how it is. Even the "most powerful person" in the world is chained to the underlying mechanics. If a president acts too much against the ruling class which acts behind the curtain, he's going to be murdered. JFK didn't want to push billions of dollars into the vietnam war and was ready to end it, that e.g. was one reason "they" killed him. Is there really one person in the world who believes the "one crazy guy it's Oswald's fault" story?

Than why did he for example, increase the debt limit? To name one thing that he did.

Oswald was there and taking shots; but it was a secret service guy in the car behind, that accidentally took the kill shot. At the same time, someone inspired and controlled Oswald and they only had their own profits margins, in mind.

I honestly don't care what your leaders do or don't. That is a matter for those living in America.

I am concerned that the UK, probably more than most other countries, has encouraged the US to see itself as above reproach.

It was never a foregone conclusion. The European powers used America as its champion in its continuing, pathetic and utterly childish fight against Russia, a spat that has been going on for 600 or so years now.

America could, potentially, provide every one of its people with a lifestyle that would rival the most comfortable European comforts, yet it has wasted most of its wealth fighting a long series of wars, provided by European powers. None has had any advantage to the US, other than to receives a doggy biscuit, a pat of the head and a well done boy from Europe.

That much is the problem of the Americans frankly. If they are and continue to be so utterly stupid as to swallow the vain flattery of Europe that they squander their own resources, not to mention hundreds of millions of their own young people's lives and sanity, following the vacuous promotions of them being so impressive, then that much is their problem. All have cost America dear in terms of lives, mental health and money.

From our perspective, I take the view that we, as British people need to stop treating Americans, ME, Africans and Asians as our servants to provide us with the advantages that we are frankly too lazy to work for ourselves.

Since I am really, really old and haven't been lucky enough to have any children of my own, I will probably not every have to deal with the inevitable backlash when the reality does finally hit the ordinary Americans as it has long since done to the ordinary people of the ME, Africa and Asia.

But surely even you can see that the likes of Trump and the US Republicans are only concerned with peddling the same old tired nonsense that America must jump to every challenge that the Europeans call them to, like the good little doggie America is?

I am not going to contradict you on this, as your experience, may be very different to mine. However: in the special relationship the UK has with the US, I would have to say that the US has always, had better deal, out of it.

The GOP are reaping what they have sown. For 8years now they have been telling their grass roots that Obama's been destroying America, that everything he does must be opposed, that compromise is betrayal.
:
Now they have lost control of the stampede they started.

Interestingly enough, in some areas within the U.S. it is a crime to destroy, or steal, political signs.

A law specifically relating to political signs, or just laws against stealing and destruction in general?

Possibly.

Apart from the amounts of hard cash the US has dumped into it.

And the millions of young lives ended or shattered by the endless wars being set up for them.

But then, American leaders do get to swan around with European Royalty. Trump has bought quite a few estates around Europe, including a rather nice golf course over looking the N Sea. He can fly over any time he fancies and play Lord of the Manor.

I'm sure the homeless vets back home shivering in their doorways will take enormous comfort knowing the endless voices, screaming in their heads, have given some Americans the right to swan around like their social betters.

That's OK, Lord Chump, is going to fix all that. With his wall building work houses and such.

Meah. Not so sure.

As long as American voters swallow the nonsense that to make America great again they must send their young men and women to die, thousands of miles away, in conflicts have have nothing to do with the US and whose outcome will have no effect upon the US, either way.

Young men and women are still dead.

Millions of Americans are still in poverty without enough to eat and no access to health care.

Many Americans still believe their country is under threat.

The mods have issues with my thoughts on these guys. Since Vietnam, I would say that many times more US citizens have died though gun violence on home soil, that any battles abroad.
