But that is a domestic issue and not what we are dealing with here.

Domestic issues have to be the sole concern of those who live there. That must apply as much to the US as it does to the ME, Africa, Asia and the UK.

Sorry to seem high an mighty on this one. I do however remain concerned that those in the Americas generally still insist upon driving on the wrong side of the road. I mean to say..... If the good lord had meant us all to drive on the wrong side of the road he'd have made it the correct side. It stands to reason.

But pobody's nerfect.

It may not be a specific 'law', but rather state statutes or city, or county, ordinances. For example, it is a 'class 2 misdameanor'. New Hampshire has civil penalties in place for the removal, defacing or destruction of political advertising on private property. Conducting a Google search on "Destruction of political signs crime" reveals several others as well.
