Check systems in "close" vicinity to Vesper-M4. When you find one please reply below so I can update the list.

Slough Orbital, Vesper-M4 – 04 Apr 3301

Jet Transport Incorporated (JTi), the leading supplier of industrial machinery to the Alrai Sector, today announced the expansion of operations into the neighbouring Cerktondhs system.

“Record Q1 sales have allowed us to take this exciting step”, said Cmdr Jean Belo, recently appointed Director of Mergers & Acquisitions for JTi.

“Diversification into refinery operations will allow us to streamline our supply chain. Our facilities at the Hahn Orbital commercial outpost go fully online today”, Belo went on to explain.

Belo closed noting, “We selected this particular base of operations because JTi believes that independent government provides the best environment for sustained commercial growth”.

JTi welcomes traders at Hahn Orbital and currently has a large number of lucrative contracts open to independent pilots.

Progress update 05 Apr 3301

Amazing first day in Cerktondhs! This is where we started the day:

JTi has gained 5% influence in a single day! This means we're catching Cerktondhs Resistance, who are correspondingly in decline, losing 6%. The difference in percentage is made up by Netcoms Incorporated's gaining 1%.

So, the gap with the Resistance has shrunk from 31% to 20%, meaning we're about a third of the way to taking control. This is much faster than I'd hoped but only time will tell if this pace is sustainable.

It's worth noting that I was monitoring these percentages throughout the day and they appeared to shift once in a single step. For now I'm assuming that they only update once per day, so don't be disheartened if you fail to see any shifts immediately.

There was also a significant shift between the warring United Cerktondhs Bureau and the Purple Pirates. The Bureau rose by 6% with the Pirates dropping a corresponding 6%. This resulted in Hahn Orbital changing hands, meaning we have new landlords:

This gives a significant indication that our longer term strategy will pay off.

Just got some nice missions from Slough bulletin board to kill 9 targets in the warzone in Cerktondhs. Just pick a side, any side and pew pew.
other mission was to kill 2 system vessels of Cerktondhs faction and Caelinus. Checking now if we are expanding there to. (nothing there, yet)

GMG and I were doing the same yesterday in a wing. I also had a mission to take out two authority ships in Cerktondhs. Just thought I'd pick a fight outside the main station. Big mistake! I was down to 18% hull in around 10 seconds when the station open fire. Only just got away. We finished the mission at the Nav Beacon -- much safer!

Progress update 06 Apr 3301

Stunning progress yesterday! Special thanks to Commanders Angel Rose and Mahddogg for organizing a huge uptake in JTi contracts from independent pilots.

Here are the faction standings at the start of yesterday followed by this morning:

JTi has risen a staggering 16% at the expense of every other faction! The Resistance fell most, losing 8%. Both sides in the civil war suffered too. Hostilities left the Pirates all but wiped out, perhaps unsurprising given their loss of Hahn Orbital the day before. Their collapse precipitated an unexpectedly early cessation of hostilities, as noted on GalNet towards the end of the day:

These rapidly moving events have left JTi in the position of being the largest non-majority faction in the system, with independent factions now holding the balance of power over Federation factions. JTi Exec continue to assess the situation as it evolves and encourage independent pilots everywhere to maintain momentum and take advantage of the generous contracts still on offer.

45% yesterday evening. lets see how far we are now and what has happened in Slough yesterday and focus a bit on that. Not much credit income for the past few days but its all for a good cause!

I've been keeping an eye on things and I'll do a status report either tomorrow or the day after. We're make slow and steady progress in Cerktondhs and things are holding steady now in Vesper-M4.

We've successfully continued to grind down the Resistance but it looks like Netcoms took advantage yesterday somehow! We will need to redouble our efforts.

Not the best of weeks for JTi but things look to be slowly improving now. We're on the gain once more and the Resistance is at it's lowest ebb yet. It's worth noting the rise of Netcoms Inc. at our expense; they may yet become our biggest problem.

Subject: Operation Spaghetti strategy update

Executive has reassessed the efforts in Cerktondhs in light of the unforeseen moves by Netcoms Inc. Primary object remains control of Cerktondhs. Gaining overall influence in system directly from Cerktondhs Resistance appears less likely now. Gaining control of any station or outpost for control of trade has been judged the necessary course of action. Allowing JTi position to weaken such that either United Cerktondhs Bureau or Cerktondhs Resistance challenge JTi will allow for the acquisition of a station or outpost. Directors and operatives are instructed to assist United Cerktondhs Bureau and Cerktondhs Resistance until further notice.
