Newcomer / Intro Jittering. Large vs Small Beams

Hello.
Trying to figure a decent build for Long Range Beams in my Conda.
A thing I need to understand is jittering in small vs bigger beams, specially at long range?
Will small and medium be more accurate and give more effective dps at longer distances?
Thank you

By jitter you mean that gimballed beams wobble around the center? Or the jitter caused by some of the engineering mods/specials? Either way, I'd say jitter and long range weapons do not go together. At a range of 3000 m the spread due to a wobble of 1 deg would be 104 m. About the size of a Python. I think the wobble of gimballed weapons is something like that.

I've never noticed the jitter/wobble to be any different between small, medium and large beam lasers. I rarely bother with more than grade 3 long range up to about 4.8km since you don't hit anything but it the biggest ships much above 4 to 4.5km range.
A large and two medium is a good combination. A huge and two small also good on an Anaconda consider the hardpoint placement.
The huge kind of cries out for a multi cannon, but I want my multi cannons on top of the ship so they can track and lead targets in my field of view.
