I picked up a job to kill 2 pirates in the v1688 Aquilae system. when I arrived at the signal source, it showed a contact updated on the screen. So i goto my transactions to vierw my quest to make sure the job still applies, I then begin to hunt this guy down, when I kill him, I get a 6200 fine for killing him and the job does not update, I killed the pirate and had one more left, but jobs not showing updated progress. grr why?
