Always a shame when somebody who made a difference passes away, may he rest in peace amongst the stars!
For those who do not know who John Young was:
He flew missions on the Gemini, Apollo and Space shuttle programmes. He was a Astronaut, Naval officer, Aeronautical engineer, aviator and test pilot.
He was the first ever person to fly solo around the moon in 1969 and was the 9th man on the moon, during the apollo 16 mission in 1972. <- were just a couple of the many awesome things he did throughout his career.
