Joining expeditions along the way

Hey there,

maybe this is a silly question but I wanted to know if it is bad behavior to join an expedition along the way. I know I don't get the 100% on EDSM then but I always have the problem that I'm not near the starting point when I'm interested in one but some waypoints nearly cross my own route so I could join later. But I don't know if that's allowed or even would unpopularize a Commander doing this.

If you join an expedition later, you can still pass through all the waypoints and get 100%. And it certainly isn't bad behaviour. We're a relaxed bunch, and everyone plays the game as they want / can IRL. You can sneak through a whole expedition and never make contact with any other participant as well. If we start excluding the introverts, I'm not sure there will be leftovers :D

Yeah, maybe we explorers are all a bit introverted 😂
So, it doesn't matter in which order I pass the waypoints to get 100%?
