Ok, most of you aren't going to get this, but for those of us who live in the Western Washington State and the Puget Sound region, chances are they have seen a Vern Fonk car insurance commercial and laughed hysterically and Robert Thielke's antics (the actor who many always thought was Vern Fonk himself). Some commercials were spoofs on movies like Forest Gump and so on. The commercials were very successful and well received. So what's does this have to do with Elite Dangerous? Read on.
So there I was searching the mission boards and then I saw it, and Assassination Mission to take out the Pirate Lord, Vern Fonk. My laughter turned to surprise after I thought about it. How on earth has Frontier, a company based in the UK, even heard of Vern Fonk insurance? And for the record, I did not take the mission, I couldn't take out Vern Fonk....

Actually the direct message is much more funny, Cvrtka Masla probably means "a quarter of butter" in Czech or Slovak language.
Also where is this commander who has in his sig an image of an NPC "Trousers" saying "I'm about to drop down"?

One of my all time favourites
Looking at some of these replies I'll unseal the mysterious names for you guys, when FDeV started the kickstarter for the game you paid I think £100 or so in beer tokens and you could put in names into the npc generator so that your npc is forever immortalised so you will see names from all over the world so car insurance man from the states, the German kids program. We have guys like David Attenborough, I'm sure I've seen thundercats, ninja turtles and all types of nostalgia from 60's to the early 2000's. Disappointing really is I haven't seen a Count Duckula, Danger mouse or Bert from the trap door out in the vacuum
