I hate civilization… Back for less than 24h and I got destroyed but a prowler of explorers. At least I made it back to Lembava without difficulties yesterday.
Roughly 3,000 Lyr away, I decided to head back to Goldstein Port and sell my data. 150 to 200 jumps later, I was safely enjoying a well deserved bottle of bubbly in my hotel room and later sleeping in real sheets. I may have splurged there, but I had to celebrate my upgrade to Ranger status and christen Breeze, my brand new Asp!
The problem is that with this morning's attack, I now barely have enough to repay my insurance and I'd need to buy a good fuel scoop to head back out. So I may be stuck in the bubble for a little bit as I careful make a million or two for a top-end scoop. Then? I'm definitely out of here and this mess!
At least I brought back some nice souvenirs from my past trip…
A bunch of water worlds of all colors and atmospheres:

This one being one of my favorite, so blue and perfect:

I couldn't help but spend the night above this one too:

This star was so blue and pretty:

I stopped over to have fun in some ice rings around a Class I. I remembered to power up my shield just before I almost rammed into one of these ice balls!

Far from everything else in this system, a stumbled on this ominous ammonia world with gossamer rings. I still shiver from the sight. Could such thin rings be natural?

I discovered my first unknown neutron star in this small stellar cluster:

The neutron star is this bright spot on this shot:

Later, I emerged in this gorgeous triple system:

And then I found my only unknown Earth-like world of the whole expedition. What a beauty, as usual. Is there life down there? Will it be colonized one day?

Apart from this, black holes really are fun!

In conclusion, a 12-million-credit run. Well worth it!
