Journal where is it?

Hi is anybody able to tell me where the player general can be found in game and if it's accessible?

Could have this wrong, but I believe the journal is something thats written to a log file. Viewing this requires a seperate program, perhaps even something the mod community has to create.

you can use eddiscovery to access the journal.

Just look at all the things that have already gone wrong and then ask yourself if you really want an in-game journal view implemented as well.

To give the add on developers access to loads of new data to write various types of utilities and not tie up Frontier dev time on it.

The mod community will come with much *MUCH* more than a journal with this. As for me, I can't wait to parse this baby and have ASTRA give me damage reports, scanning summaries and much much more. But this is just an example of what is cooking.

Because now it can be used by all kinds of community made programs. Whether it be a program that just reads the events back to you like an actual journal or a voice attack add on. They also serve well as log files for support.
