Joy stick gremlin

Ok woke up today to a problem with my X52 PRO. Looks like the gremlins have been at it over night as it now has a permanent right hand yaw it's making for some interesting flights out of stations in my cutter.

Anyone else had a similar issue? if so any solutions? (Work on the K.I.S.S principle for ideas to fix it as I am both simple and stupid:D)

Unplug the joystick and plug it in again, or try a different usb port. If that doesn't help, try calibrating it again.

As above, check the software, try a different port and pc if possible. Make 100% sure it's the hardware thats at fault and if it is (and it's out of warranty) hit that screwdriver up, could be a bit of lube that's got in front of the sensor, could be a catch thats broken.

This was my bugreport of a ghost yaw input. Found out it was a poor soldering job. Still not fixed that myself because I bought an X52 pro instead but it's the same company (Madcatz formerly Saitek afaik) so could be a similar issue.

Obviously if in warranty do not open the stick up and return it to sender :) if the error can be reproduced on other pcs.

Sweet that fixed it. Ty for the fast response theres times this forum restores my faith in humanity ( then again there's times it makes me wanna push the button:p)

a unplug and quick blow out of each port in use fixed it this time again thanks
