Community Event / Creation Joystick and throttle swing away desk mounts

I used to have the X52 joystick and throttle just sitting on my desk but on the occasion (not that frequent really) that I was not playing ED then they tended to get in the way and moving them and the keyboard/mouse around the get a comfortable playing/working position was a bit like one of those sliding puzzles where you have to get the tiles in the right order, but with attached and annoying cables....

I looked about a lot but couldn't see a solution till I found these....

They clamp onto the desk and I can swivel them around out of the way, I wasn't sure how well if would work for the price but I am now very pleased at how it turned out. The stick and throttle are held onto the pads using stick on velcro pads. Put some pics below...

That looks good, I did muse over fixing mine to the chair arms but I only have one chair (and no room for another anywhere) so went for the desk fix.

Yep but it only moves forward when the sticks come round, then back when they rotate back again. Only moves a few inches rather than having to lift it up and push either stick underneath it to get them at one side which was tedious. :)

Ah, I see.

(Short reply as it's difficult to type when reaching over your throttle, as I'm sure you will understand..).

Nice work Cmdr! I am just about to embark on a little project to mount my x52 pro onto some articulated arms. Will share pic's as I progress.
