Hardware & Technical Joystick Curves

I recently lost my C: drive and the biggest casualty was the joystick curves progam as I didn't backup the profile. I copied over the graphics and key bindings when I reinstalled Elite and it doesn't quite get everything like the dead zones. So I've gone from an absolutely awesome experience with my setup one that just doesn't feel right. I can't seem to get the controls to be as precise as I had them before. I had a small dead zone and a really slow start to the pitch, roll and yaw axis that really helped when using fixed weapons. It felt really natural and smooth. Try as I might, I can't replicate this.

I've searched around and can't find much info on the finer points of using Joystick curves, anybody got any tips?

I've finally got most of it right, for some reason to right click on the green field and set the physical axis there. My issues was the dark green cursor was moving. But now I have another issue. I can't cet any of the devices on the the trottle, namely my pedals to work. If I click on the green field and set the yaw to the throttle it sets all axis to that. I can't figure out why it won't work.

Been picking at this and what I found is this:

I can't add anything from the throttle. I f I add a second profile and try to edit it, it jumps to the first profile. Honestly, I've never had an issue with this before. If I right click on the green field and set the physical device to the throttle the dark green cursor will move in the yaw section, however, it will only move when move the pedals on the throttle itself and will move no matter what axis I've set anytime I move the pedals. Setting the device in the physical device tab will not work at all, it has to be set by right clicking on the green field. I've reinstalled, with a system restart, several times and nothing changes. I'm lost at this point.

I see the 2 virtual axis in the joy.cpl and they respond if programmed. My throttle and pedals all respond in the joy.cpl

I wish I could help. i uninstalled Joystick Curves because of the Vjoy driver that gives you the perpetual mouse spin in many, many Unity Engine games.

Thanks, I gave up on it. The official forums don't appear to be working. I have no I dea why it worked before, and doesn't now. It's moot point now as I have put too much time into the TARGET software to turn back. I pretty much got everything done but still having some issues with the galaxy map binds.
