Joystick drifting after ship change

Hi, I sold off my Phantom, and outfitted a Python. just sitting outside a station the view steadily pans to the left, requiring a lot of pressure on the stick to keep it centered. never a problem in any other ship. it will even pull the course away from the target in auto drive....

It is a Logitech Extreme Pro... unusable as is... tried to reset the defaults, no help. any advice appreciated! thanks

That stick is renowned for drift appearing on the twist - just do the joystick calibration in windows and also look at setting a dead-zone on that axis in Elite's Options / Controls.

thanks for the reply. I tried to do the Windows calibration, could not figure out what "slide" was to calibrate it....
