Joystick Gremlin

Hi all.
I was wondering if anyone with experience using Joystick Gremlin to make PIP macros had any advice.
I have set up the macro in JG and can see the button commands being executed, but in game it will not work.
The PIP buttons in game are configured properly and I am using a 4 way switch not assigned to any other
commands. All buttons are recognized by the game. Its an Orion2 HOTAS setup.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,

Perhaps you require a short delay in your macro between each button or keypress being sent to the game.
I use 33ms "hold-down" time and 100ms as a standard keypress delay between keystrokes.
Let us know if this helps.

If not, perhaps post your macro so we can take a look and ensure there's no obvious hiccups you may have missed.

Cheers

Thanks for getting back to me. Heres a screenshot of the macro I set up for the pips with a pause delay inserted.

I bound the pips to keyboard arrows in game and then bound the Gremlin joystick hats to fire macros using arrow keys. Works like a charm. No pauses needed. I can post a screenshot in about 2 hours when I get home🙂

Not sure how to change the hold down time.
From what I can see, you are pressing and holding a button for 0.3100 seconds, then pausing for another 0.3100 seconds then pressing the next button etc.
That "should be fine".

Try making the pauses a bit longer and see if that works.
Alternately, try @Shurimal 's solution.

Hey y'all. Sorry for the delayed response, I've been away from game and computer for a while.
I'll give it a try when the update is done. I appreciated you getting back to me!!
