Hardware & Technical Joystick problems:

Greetings:

Despite I have all deadzone to 0 (sliders fully left) I have a major deadzone on my joystick.
I have to move the stick to the near ends before it begins to react.
Anyone an idea on how to fix this, please?

Thank you.

You might try calibrations. No guarantees but it may help.

Control Panel. Devices and Printers, Game controllers. Right click, choose either Properties or settings, depending upon which OS you use. Small box opens. Click Properities.

The other possibilities is you may have the joystick pluges into a USB3, (blue) instead of USB2. Sadly, USB3 doesn't seem to be as universal as it should be.

Assign the joystick controls as axis controls, not as buttons.
In other words: when assigning your joystick to (for example) roll, click on "Roll axis" & move your stick, and click on "Roll left" & delete the entry (or assign a key to it), same to "Roll right" - if those boxes aren't already empty.
