Joystick rotary axis for sensor range

In light of the fact that I have two knobs left on the throttle on my X55, and considering that the sensor range defaults to minimum range (where I'd prefer it didn't) I'd appreciate an option to control it with an axis.

You know you can go into game setting and setup everything. I have two joysticks running at once a x52 and a st290 pro

For my self I have the Mouse setup on the x52 wheel to deal with my sensor range.

Do you use a X52 or a X52 Pro? I have a X52 (non pro) and I've been trying to map the sensor range to the throttle mouse wheel, but I could not map it to anything in game. Would you know if I have to do something in particular in the profile editor? Thx.

Sorry for the hijack.

Firstly I regret your tone, but it is possible I take it wrong. Second I know about the options and I have buttons on my throttle assigned to it, but I'd rather use one of the knobs to set it where I like it and have confidence that it'll stay set that way.

I tried to do this as well, but since you can't map an axis to the zoom it doesn't really work. By banding the rotaries you can fake it awkwardly, but it becomes hard to control. If zoom could be controlled by an axis, or if you could set buttons to individual zoom levels then it would be trivial.

(Re. x52: there's a mouse wheel on the throttle, next to the hat, which is a good match for sensor and map zooms.)
